FOREWORD
Five years have elapsed since the initial publication of this book, during that time, we decided to revise since there are supplements such as revision of quoted standard etc., part explanation etc.
Also, we will also receive advice from veteran engineers on the content and reflect on the revision of the contents and thank you for your support.

PREFACE
Industrial valves often have specifications based on standards, regulations, standards, etc. In many cases this document also cites references from many standards. It is required to understand these basic contents correctly and perform appropriate inspection.
Authors received advice from many EPC engineers both at home and abroad and were able to gain experience.
I hope that it is one of the responsibilities as a valve engineer to inherit these experiences to young engineers.
